PBI OUTDOOR SUMMER GAMES AND CAMP

Introducing PBI’s most exciting and revolutionary program yet- “PBI Outdoor Summer Games and Camp!" Players will go thru a one day “evaluation/spring training” regimen, and then players will put their skills into action in a full-day/no inning limit live baseball game for the remainder of the week. PBI coaches will instruct players during the course of the game, and special “skill” areas will be set up to work with players throughout the week. EAGLES BASEBALL ASSOCIATION NEWS -
FALL TRYOUT INFORMATION ANNOUNCED

Eagles Baseball Association travel teams will hold tryouts for the upcoming 2010 fall season beginning the week of July 12th here in our indoor training facility in Upper Saddle River. These teams will compete in the PBI Baseball League 2010 fall season which gets underway in early September. For complete information on the teams, tryouts, practices and games, click here.

8U, and 9U Eagles teams finished their spring seasons in the PBI Baseball League on June 13th with exciting victories in their respective championship games. The 8U Eagles eked out a 4-3 win over a tough Paramus A's squad while the 9U Eagles scored a 3-0 win over the Ridgewood Raiders in a very exciting game to finish with an undefeated record. The 10U championship game was played Friday June 18 with Ridgewood beating a resilient PBI team 11-5.

PBI LEAGUE NEWS - SUMMER LEAGUE FINISHES
FALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
PBI LEAGUE 14U MAJORS TEAMS DOMINATE TOURNAMENT!

The 14U Ramapo Rangers from the PBI Baseball League 14U Elite Division beat the 14U Jersey Bulldogs - another PBI Elite Division team - on Sunday June 20 in the 1st Annual St. Joseph's Regional High School Tournament For Incoming Freshmen. The Rangers finished the weekend tournament with an undefeated 5-0 record. The Elite Division of the PBI Baseball League offers top competition and gets teams ready for premier tournaments, too.

The PBI Baseball League offers 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U and high school levels of play in the spring, summer and fall. The 2010 summer season began June 14, 2010 and the regular season ended the week of July 19. Playoffs for the top four teams in each division took place the week of July 26. FINAL STANDINGS FOR ALL TEAMS FROM 8U THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS ARE NOW ONLINE.

Registrations for the 2010 PBI Baseball League Fall Season are now being taken. The regular season begins the Sunday after Labor Day 2010 for all age levels (8U through high school). The fall season is comprised of an 8-game schedule played on SUNDAYS through the fall. The deadline to register for the fall season is Tuesday August 31. PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL INSTRUCTION ANNOUNCES NEW DATES FOR THE PBI SQUIRTS BASEBALL PROGRAM

Professional Baseball Instruction’s Squirts Baseball Program has been a big hit with both children and their parents. It’s a baseball clinic designed for the ultimate rookie - players between the ages of 3 and 5 who are being exposed to the Game of Baseball for the first time. This organized series is a non- competitive, six-week long session designed to teach players and their parents the role of baseball in a young one's life. Squirts is now offered on Saturdays, too! Thanks for taking the time to check out Professional Baseball Instruction. Baseball has been a life-long passion for me and I look forward to imparting that love of the game on your child as PBI moves into its 18th year of baseball and softball training.

PBI continues to be THE leader in baseball training in New Jersey with new and innovative programs and training methods being introduced to our players. In 2009 we continued to raise the bar with our 17U Elite Eagles showcase team for top high school players and our entry last summer into the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League, one of the premier college summer leagues in the country, opened our players up to more exciting new opportunities! And later in 2010, we'll be joining forces with former Major League pitching coach Rick Peterson and former Major League pitcher Al Leiter on a pitching program that is truly unique. PBI's Major League-quality training standards are unequaled!

Teaching baseball, and teaching the life-lessons associated with the Game Of Baseball is such a wonderful thing. At PBI, we do both with a passion, and a respect for The Game. The PBI staff is trained to teach The Game in such a way that makes it both fun and exciting.
