The Pirates will take on face the San Francisco Giants in the National League Wild Card Game on Wednesday October 1 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The Pirates made it to the playoffs in 2013 for the first time since 1992.

The Pirates were 50-31 at home in 2014, second only to the Angels in all of Major League Baseball.
