Professional Baseball Instruction sends congratulations to Pittsburgh Pirates manager (and PBI MLB advisor) Clint Hurdle on advancing in the National League playoffs with a 6-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on October 1. They face the St. Louis Cardinals in a best-of-five series beginning Thursday October 3. The Pirates made it to the playoffs for the first time since 1992 with a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs on September 23.
