Take A Little Off the Top and Add A Two-Seamer

What started out as a way for a college freshman pitcher to make a little spending money has turned into something FAR bigger.

Joe Cinnella, son of PBI owner & president Doug Cinnella and his wife Debbie, started cutting his teammates’ hair and things took off from there with teammates frequently asking Joe for a trim.

Playing this summer for Rhode Island’s Ocean State Waves in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, the Seton Hall University lefty pitcher has expanded his trade to include fans along with his teammates.

On days where he’s not scheduled to pitch, fans can get their hair cut by Joe in the bullpen while watching the game. Joe, and his coiffeur skills, were recently a feature story in The Independent, a local Rhode Island newspaper.

Headed to New England this summer? Stop and see Joe pitch…and add a haircut in while you’re at it!
